Former First Lady Dawn Gibbons shared her inspiring story of handling her public divorce with grace and a side of humor.
A delicious lunch was prepared by the chef’s at Silverton including succulent pastas, tender chicken, salads and amazing desserts. Following lunch and Ms. Gibbons’ presentation, attendees were treated to raffle drawings with over $1,000 in prizes.

The October WPLV Meeting featured a very special … make that two very special guests.

Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman was the featured speaker, championing the incredible impact that the wedding industry has on the Las Vegas economy. At the meeting, Madame Tussauds unveiled Mayor Goodman’s wax figure for all to see. It was so lifelike that several guests thought that he was greeting them at the door!
